Biddy & Cousy Basketball
The 2019-20 Biddy Basketball Program is a volunteer organization that sponsors a basketball program for boys living in the city of Shelton.
Mitey Mites: Grades 2-3
The Mitey Mite Program for boys in grades 2 and 3 is an instructional basketball league. Teams will play once or twice a week.
Biddy Basketball: Grades 4-7
Junior Varsity League is for boys in grades 4 and 5. Teams usually play two games per week.
Varsity League is for boys in grades 6 and 7. Teams will play once or twice per week.
Cousy Basketball: Grades 8-12
Junior Cousy is for boys in grades 8 and 9. Teams usually play two games per week
Senior Cousy is for boys in grades 10-12. Teams usually play two games per week. *Senior Cousy Starts in December
REGISTRATION: at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street
Tuesday, September 24: 6pm-8pm
Saturday, September 28: 9am-12pm
Monday, October 7: 6:0pm-8:00pm
Registration Fees for Mitey-Mite, Biddy, Junior Cousy, & Sr Cousy:
$80 for the 1st child
$70 for the 2nd child
$60 for each additional child

An adult must accompany all children and first time players need to bring their birth certificate.
Program volunteers will be available to answer questions.
Due to limited gym time, enrollment in each division will be limited. Please sign up early!
Practice Dates & Times: Coaches will call players with date, time and location of practices.
First time players in new league/division will have to attend an evaluation for placement:
All evaluations will be held at Perry hill lower gym at 6:00pm
Biddy JV - Grades 4-5 October 17th
Biddy V - Grades 6-7 October 23rd (Sunnyside School)
Cousy Jr - Grades 8-9 December 5th
Cousy Sr - Grandes 10-12 December 10th
Players who make the 4th or 5th grade travel team must also play Recreation Basketball.
Players who make the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade travel team have the option of playing or not playing recreational games. Travel fee will be determined after the travel tryouts have been held in October.
